Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation Hospital
Are you a highly motivated Registered Nurse looking for career progression and/or a sea change?
- Wallace Street Recruitment is looking for an experienced AHPRA Registered Nurse for the role of NUM in an Acute Medical/Surgical Ward
- The hospital is a lovely, 64 bed Private Hospital, located near the beach, on the Mid-North Coast of NSW
- This role will provide you with the opportunity to:
- Lead a clinical team to deliver safe, timely patient focused care for optimal outcomes for all stakeholders
- Create and maintain an environment that is one of best practice and continuous improvement
- Develop strong working relationships with physicians and VMO’s
- Maintain effective resource management, develop and monitor strategies to achieve organisational goals
- Work with a progressive Director of Clinical Services along with the Regional CEO and a committed hospital team, to deliver high standard patient experiences and outcomes
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Current AHPRA Registration - Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in in-patient nursing care
- Passionate about patient care and service and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
- High accountability and the ability to demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging style
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and work well with interdisciplinary staff
- Sound organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, including computer skills
Desirable:
- Post graduate nursing qualifications or health management qualification
- Experience in a nurse management role
