Surgical, Medical and Rehabilitation Hospital
Are you a highly motivated Registered Nurse looking for career progression and/or a sea change?
- Wallace Street Recruitment is looking for an experienced AHPRA Registered Nurse to join the Management Team, for the role of NUM across the Oncology, Medical and Surgical Wards
- The hospital is a lovely, 64 bed Private Hospital, located near the beach, on the Mid-North Coast of NSW
- This role will provide you with the opportunity to:
Create and maintain an environment that is one of best practice and continuous improvement
Develop strong working relationships with physicians and VMO’s
Maintain effective resource management, develop and monitor strategies to achieve organisational goals
Work with a progressive Director of Clinical Services along with the Regional CEO and a committed hospital team, to deliver high standard patient experiences and outcomes
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
- Current AHPRA Registration - Registered Nurse
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant clinical experience
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in in-patient nursing care
- Passionate about patient care and service and achieving high quality clinical outcomes
- High accountability and the ability to demonstrate a strong, supportive and engaging style
- Demonstrated ability to build effective teams and work well with interdisciplinary staff
- Sound organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, including computer skills
Desirable:
- Post graduate nursing qualifications or health management qualification
- Experience in a nurse management role
